iPhone 2.0

Finally, iPhone 2.0 has been announced. No shocks, but some good stuff anyway (at least from the perspective of the library).

The device got

  • 3G (erm…haha…shouldn’t that have been a 1.0 feature? Oh yeah…Europe…hmmm right.)
  • VPN (thankyou, this pleases me)
  • GPS (possible useful…RFIDs+GPS=locational love?)
  • Exchange (will I come to appreciate this? I hope not)
  • Better language support

Was there anything else? Not that I can see as worth mentioning for library users.
